Returns & Warranty

Warranty

At Alpine Trikes, we’re proud of the quality and durability of our electric tricycles. That’s why every trike purchased directly from us comes with a comprehensive warranty that covers all non-consumable parts, including the battery and frame.

What’s Covered

  • Frame Warranty: The frame is covered for 2 years against manufacturing defects that result in structural failure (not including damage from accidents, misuse, or unauthorised modifications).

  • Electrical Components: These are weather-resistant, not waterproof. While you can ride in the rain, submerging the motor or electrical parts can cause damage, which is not covered under warranty.

  • Replacement Parts & Advice: If something does go wrong, we’ll provide the necessary replacement part(s) and advice on how to install or repair them. Defective parts will need to be returned to us for inspection.

What's Not Covered

The following are not included under the warranty:

  • Regular wear and tear (e.g. brake pads, tyres, bearings, battery degradation, punctures).

  • Damage caused by neglect, improper use, or failure to service the trike regularly.

  • Rust or weather damage.

  • Any parts modified or replaced by a third party or parts not supplied by Alpine.

  • Damage from customer-added modifications (e.g. electric conversion kits).

  • Any work completed without our prior written approval.

Important Notes

  • Warranty claims must include proof of purchase and will only be accepted from the original buyer.

  • Trikes or parts sent back must be clean and securely packaged for assessment. A cleaning fee may apply if returned in poor condition.

  • We reserve the right to determine whether damage is due to a defect or misuse.

  • Return shipping costs for warranty repairs are the responsibility of the customer.

  • After warranty repairs are completed, trikes must be collected within 2 days. A £5 per day storage fee applies after that. Trikes left uncollected for 26 weeks may be disposed of.

  • If we repair a part damaged due to misuse, it will not be covered by the warranty unless it’s replaced entirely with a new part.

  • Warranties are non-transferable.

  • Any defective parts must be returned for a warranty claim to be valid.

  • Third-party repairs are not covered unless we've approved them in writing.
